Smokestack Demolition, Industrial Chimney Demoliton
Continental Chimney performs piecemeal smokestack dismantlement of industrial chimneys by hand one brick or one very small section at a time [industrial chimney demolition] using OSHA approved methods and approved OSHA scaffolding. That means we scaffold the stack demolition so nothing can fall off the chimney and then we remove one brick at a time and drop it down the inside. We specialize in setting up each job so there are ZERO possibilities for *Any Kind* of an accident from falling debris. We don’t do dangerous work.
Some of these jobs have been for power companies such as PSE&G, [under another company with special insurance for Con-Edison in Manhattan which includes commercial chimney demolition], and various other power companies and refinery chimney demolition projects.
Many of our jobs have been accomplished cooperating with other contractors to get the job done on time to make way for new construction.
