Continental Chimney COVID-19 Plan and Response.

To our valued clients and customers, Continental Chimney is continuing to monitor the evolving guidance and best safety practices regarding COVID-19 from both federal and local public health officials and institutions including OSHA and the CDC.

We remain vigilant in this time of unprecedented crisis, and are committed to maintaining the health, safety, and welfare of our communities. We’re all in this together.

We will also implement the following mitigation strategies at all job sites and our main office.

Temperature Screening. We will measure each employee’s temperature and assess symptoms prior to them starting work.  Employees who appear to have symptoms (i.e., fever, cough, or shortness of breath) upon arrival at work or who become sick during the day will immediately be separated from other employees, customers, and visitors and sent home.

PPE:  We will issued N95 face masks to all job site employees. Job site employees are required to wear a face mask and gloves at all times while on the job site.

Social Distancing: All employees will maintain 6 feet and practice social distancing as work duties permit on the job site.

Disinfecting and Cleaning of Work Spaces and Equipment:   We will increase the frequency of cleaning commonly touched surfaces and will clean and disinfect all equipment routinely. If an employee becomes sick during the day, they will be sent home immediately. Surfaces in their workspace will be cleaned and disinfected. Information on persons who had contact with the ill employee during the time the employee had symptoms and 2 days prior to symptoms will be compiled.
